From the grower, Diane -

But what makes seasonal fruit so scrumptious is that it is part of a rhythm, a rhythm that allows you access to it only once a year. And, let's face it, it's the 11 months of not having fresh strawberries that make fresh strawberries so inviting.                    - Bob Welch, The Register Guard, Eugene, Oregon ("Lazy days full of anticipation," June 25, 2002)

In these times of economic uncertainty, many of us are returning to the old ways, producing some of our own food like our grandparents did. Nurseries can’t keep vegetables in stock, and fruit trees are selling really well. As a result, we here at Rainbow Gardens have increased our fruit tree inventory for 2009. We retooled our entire fruit tree display area, which will include full color photo bulletin boards of all the different varieties, with descriptions.

We proudly carry Dave Wilson Nursery fruit tree stock. Our new line will be ready for sale starting February 14, Valentine’s Day. We will have seven varieties of nectarine this year, and ten wonderful peaches! There are several interesting low chill varieties you may like, including a nice selection of berries & grapes.
